How to play Daily Word
Every day there's one hidden five-letter word, the same for everyone. You get six guesses. Each guess must be a real five-letter word; type it in and press Enter. The tiles change colour to show how close you are:
- Green — the letter is correct and in the right position.
- Yellow — the letter is in the word, but in a different position.
- Grey — the letter isn't in the word at all.
Tips
- Open with a word rich in common letters and vowels to light up the board fast.
- Use what you learn — keep confirmed greens in place and shuffle yellows to new spots.
- Your progress is saved, so you can close the tab and finish later. Come back tomorrow for a fresh word and keep your streak alive.
